Top of the agenda this past week: World Cup. Princeton alums had a hand on all sides in the run-up to the tournament, from coaching, to hosting, to lambasting on Comedy Central. More sports on the docket too, as some Tigers got picked in the MLB drafts this past week. And other stuff: Paul Krugman

Stephen Colbert loves Princeton. Let us explain. This past week, the Colbert Report host had two Princetonian guests back-to-back on Wednesday and Thursday nights. First up was Joshua Micah Marshall ’91, founder and editor of the political blog Talking Points Memo, discussing the mechanics of his “hybrid” news site.
