When I saw an article saying that Princeton’s acclaimed religious scholar Elaine Pagels was preparing to give a speech in Transylvania, I got excited. When I saw that the first sentence of this article was, “Elaine Pagels was in a dark period of her life when she began researching Satan,” I could hardly contain myself.
