Dana Bernstein ’15 hails from Scarsdale, New York. She plans to major in psychology and earn a neuroscience certificate. Dana enjoys baking banana chocolate chip muffins and watching How I Met Your Mother.
Julia Bumke ’13 is from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, and a graduate of Newark Academy and Juilliard Pre-College. She enjoys playing French horn in the Princeton University Orchestra, overanalyzing films, hanging out at Theatre Intime, and waiting with bated breath for Gail Collins’s latest New York Times column each Thursday and Saturday.
Vivienne Chen ’14 (Editorial Director, The Ink) grew up in Pleasanton, California. She is a prospective English major with a Gender/Sexuality Studies certificate. She enjoys jet-setting, overpriced smoothies/fruit juices, and long walks on the beach (bring a tent). Her journalistic fashion icon is Anderson Cooper, for his “On the Frontline” Chic.
Louise Connelly ’15 is from Wilmington, Delaware. A graduate of Wilmington Friends School, Louise is a prospective Woodrow Wilson School major, although her interests also include languages and linguistics. Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, she enjoys few things more than a good fondue.
Oren Fliegelman ’16 is a proud New Jersey native. A prospective Woodrow Wilson School or Near Eastern Studies major, his main interests are international politics and American and Middle Eastern history. Oren likes eating warm cookies, wearing watches, and procrastinating with endless marathons of the West Wing.
Shirley Gao ’13 is from Davis, California. She is majoring in the Woodrow Wilson School and earning a certificate in Global Health. Named after Shirley Temple–the actress, not the drink–Shirley is interested in drug patents, criminal justice, and Morgan Freeman.
Abby Greene ’13 (Co-president emeritus) is from Katonah, New York, where she attended John Jay High School. Abby is planning to major in either psychology or molecular biology with a neuroscience certificate. When not busy looking for a good story, Abby works as an education coordinator for Americorps’ and NJPIRG’s Energy Service Corps.
Abby Klionsky ’14 is a history major from Chicago. She spends a lot of time at the CJL, frequents Rise Up Singing, and loves finding really old books at Firestone. When not doing one of the above, Abby is probably drinking tea, playing with kids, taking photographs, playing Bananagrams, or going on adventure expeditions.
Yahui “Ellis” Liang ’15 is a prospective Economics or Woodrow Wilson major from Edison, NJ, where everyone still calls her by her legal name. She eats tomatoes at nearly every meal, is a proud Potterhead, and wishes her life was narrated by Ira Glass.
Charlie Marsh ’15 (Vice President) is a prospective Computer Science major. Born in Westchester County, New York, he lived in London, England for 10 years prior to coming to Princeton. In his spare time, he enjoys reading about Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as exploring narrative non-fiction (á la John McPhee, David Foster Wallace, and co.) and the New York Times op-ed section (paying particular attention to David Brooks and Ross Douthat).
Giri Nathan ’13 (Editorial Director emeritus) is from North Caldwell, New Jersey, and he doesn’t have a middle name. A graduate of Montclair Kimberley Academy, Giri hopes to pursue a major at Princeton. He enjoys cheap wordplay, tennis, David Foster Wallace, and David Foster Wallace writing about tennis.
Bina Peltz ’15 is from right-outside-of-Philadelphia, PA. A graduate of Lower Merion High School, Bina plans to major in either English or Politics. She enjoys drinking peppermint tea with honey and reading the Sunday edition of the New York Times.
Nellie Peyton ’14 is from New York, New York, and a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy. A Comparative Literature major, Nellie enjoys speaking French, watching Friends, and picking vegetables.
Jasper Ryckman ’15 is from Denver, CO. He is a prospective History major and plans to pursue a certificate in Environmental Studies. Jasper, a fanatic foodie, favors fir forests, fiddling, football fun facts, and alliteration. Also Woody Allen.
Nathan Serota ’14 (President) is from Miami, Florida and a graduate of Ransom Everglades School. He fancies music, writing and getting really anxious about the environment.

Ellen Shakespear ’13 is from Montclair, New Jersey. Ellen plans on majoring in architecture, and her interests include design, Bruce Springsteen, and museums.
Andrew Sondern ’15 is originally from Kansas but spent his high school days in New Jersey. A prospective graduate of Princeton, he is a fan of clothing, baseball, and short walks on Alexander Beach
Alice Su ’13 spent her high school years in Shanghai, China, but has also lived in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and California. She’s a Wilson School major who enjoys singing and photography. If you bring her sushi, she will be your friend.
Jean Wang ’16 is most recently from Palo Alto, CA, though she has also lived in various parts of Southern California and Canada. A graduate of Henry M. Gunn High School, she likes to tell people she is a prospective engineer. A major foodie, her interests include ultimate frisbee, entrepreneurship, and food. But mainly food.
Lauren Wyman ’14 thinks that one can never underestimate the healing power of dried mangoes. She is an Ecology and Evolutionary Biology major from northern Ohio, and she enjoys hats, cute animal videos and Post-it Notes.
Lauren Zumbach ’13 (Co-president emeritus) is an Economics major from Hinsdale, Illinois. She enjoys photography, rock climbing, and following the latest Internet craze.
